Leadership & Involvement

Leadership

Students work collaboratively with each other to produce work which encourages problem solving in a group and fortifies individual knowledge through the consideration on another’s point of view. This can happen many ways ranging from group work in courses to leadership work in engagement.

UIC Impact Summit

The purpose of the UIC Impact Summit is to help you get involved on campus (by moving from participation into involvement), which starts students’ processes to becoming a student leader on campus.

At the UIC Impact Summit students will evaluate their values, intentions, and skill-sets to help determine what they want to get out of their participation and involvement on campus. Then UIC Impact will connect students with student leaders from various student organizations on campus who will share their organizations’ values, intentions, and skill-sets, and what students can gain by joining their organizations.
